Ta biết em sẽ ra sao

 Chủ đề sinh hoạt của Xóm Trăng hôm thứ bảy (27/12) vừa rồi là "The Source of Love", từ bài thơ sau của nhà thơ người Ba Tư, Hafiz, do Hằng Đào host. Bài thơ hay quá nên mình lưu lại ở đây, để nhắc nhở bản thân luôn nhớ và thực hành, cho đi và đón nhận Tình Yêu Thương. 

"Từ nhãn thị chúng sinh. Mắt thương nhìn cuộc đời".     

I know the way you can get (Hafiz)
When you have not had a drink of Love:

Your face hardens,
Your sweet muscles cramp.
Children become concerned
About a strange look that appears in your eyes
Which even begins to worry your own mirror
And nose.

Squirrels and birds sense your sadness
And call an important conference in a tall tree.
They decide which secret code to chant
To help your mind and soul.

Even angels fear that brand of madness
That arrays itself against the world
And throws sharp stones and spears into
The innocent
And into one’s self.

O I know the way you can get
If you have not been drinking Love:

You might rip apart
Every sentence your friends and teachers say,
Looking for hidden clauses.
You might weigh every word on a scale
Like a dead fish.

        You might pull out a ruler to measure

From every angle in your darkness

The beautiful dimensions of a heart you once

Trusted.

I know the way you can get

If you have not had a drink from Love’s

Hands.

That is why all the Great Ones speak of

The vital need

To keep remembering God,

So you will come to know and see Him

As being so Playful

And Wanting,

Just Wanting to help.

That is why Hafiz says:

Bring your cup near me.

For all I care about

Is quenching your thirst for freedom!

All a Sane man can ever care about

Is giving Love!

Khi đã lâu em không uống một ngụm Tình Yêu

 Mặt em cứng lại
Cơ bắp em co rúm
Trẻ em lo lắng
Vì cái nhìn lạ lùng trong mắt em
Đến nỗi cái gương em soi thấy bất an
Và mũi nữa

Sóc và chim cảm được nỗi sầu của em
Chúng triệu tập một hội nghị quan trọng
        Trên một ngọn cây cao
Chúng bàn xem nên niệm mật mã nào
Để cứu lấy tâm trí và linh hồn em  

Ngay cả thiên thần cũng sợ hãi 
        Đám điên loạn ấy
Khi tập hợp lại đối đầu cả thế giới
Ném đá sắc và giáo nhọn
Vào kẻ vô tội
Và vào chính mình

Ôi Ta biết em sẽ ra sao
Khi em không uống một ngụm Tình Yêu  

Em bị xé toạc
Mọi lời bạn và thầy em nói
Lục lọi tìm lời ẩn đằng sau

Em có khi bỏ từng từ
Đặt lên cân
Như một con cá chết

Em có khi rút thước 
Do mọi góc tối trong em
Mọi chiều đẹp đẽ  của trái tim 
Mà em từng tin cậy

Ôi Ta biết em sẽ ra sao
Khi em không uống một ngụm Tình Yêu

  Vì thế các Thánh Nhân, đều nói đến
Nhu cầu sống còn
Phải luôn nhớ về Chúa
Để em sẽ đến, nhận ra và thấy Chúa
Là Đấng vui nhộn và quá Khát Khao
Chỉ Khát Khao
Được giúp em mà thôi  

Vì thế Hafiz nói
Hãy đưa chén lại gần ta
Bởi điều duy nhất ta màng
Là làm dịu con khát tự do cho em
Và điều duy nhất
Một người tỉnh táo
Quan tâm,
Đó là
Cho đi Tình Yêu.

Hạnh vừa gửi thông điệp rất hay từ một người bạn để chúng mình cùng suy ngẫm ngày đầu năm mới:

There are 86,400 seconds in a day. How many of those seconds are committed to love? How many of those seconds are committed to beauty? How many of those seconds are committed to knowing my self? How many of those seconds are committed to serving others? 

How many of those seconds are committed to God?

There are 86,400 seconds in a day. In this new year, I am choosing to be the best steward of the time that I have. I am choosing to spend the currency of time wisely. I am choosing to never let what is important, be long delayed by what is urgent.

I choose the fuel of love and compassion, giving and listening, as the energy source for my life.

Love is always an option, and always the best option.

Love is always a choice, and always the best choice.

I have 86,400 seconds of life each day. 

I am choosing to spend that currency of time wisely, knowing that time is like a flowing river. The currents ensure that the same water, the same time  never touches my life twice.

Each moment of life flows into the next till our time here is spent, and we finally flow with the currents of the river of love into the Ocean of Eternal love.

There are 86,400 seconds in each day.

How many of them are silent witnesses to acts of love and kindness, to understanding and gratitude?

I am committed to the process of being refined by life into a clearer instrument for love.

That is how I am spending my 86,400 seconds today…and every day of the new year.
